Rirkrit Tiravanija is a contemporary Thai Conceptual artist. A pioneer of the Relational Aesthetics movement, Rirkrit deconstructs the concept of art into its relational components, focusing on the interactions between people while often addressing a cultural or political problematic. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1961, he went on to attend the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York.
