ODBK Space during Documenta 16

[Attention!! please read all instructions carefully before reserving an spot]

During the next Documenta 16, ODBK will be established in a physical space in the city of Kassel, Germany, where this event will take place, starting on June 12 to September 19, 2027. During that time in space, the ODBK will set up an information desk about the organization itself and its projects, inviting people to participate in the ODBK projects. Organizing lectures, workshops, discussions about equality, diversity, inclusion, transparency and democracy for the art world. There will be a program that will be published a few months before starting Documenta 16.

The space will have two walls dedicated to hosting 8 two-dimensional artworks like painting, drawing, photography or collage. The artworks will be arranged as displayed in the image below. These 8 spots will be open to all artists who want to participate and under the following conditions (please read carefully):

1. Maximum size of the artwork 110 x 110 cms
2. No limitation on price
3. 2-dimensional artworks, all media are available.
4. Transportation costs of the artwork(s) from origin to Kassel, and from Kassel to origin, will be covered by the artist
5. Fees for the space have to be covered ( 50 Euros/day/spot). Complete the reservation and payment using the button "Get Tickets Now". The price includes:
   1. Installation of the artwork on the wall.
   2. Printing and sticking of the artwork label
   3. Storage until the end of Documenta 16 ( September 19, 2027 )
   4. Standard photo of the artwork hanging on the wall ( this will not be a professional photo; this is the photo we will make at the ODBK to document the event)
6. There is no refund in case the artwork(s) exceed the maximum size or do not reach the destination on time, or in any other case
7. In case the artwork does not reach the destination on time, the spot assigned will be left blank for the time reserved.
8. ODBK is not responsible for any damage caused to any artwork during transportation, installation, exhibition, or storage.
9. If the artwork is not picked up by September 19, it will be assumed to be donated to the ODBK. The ODBK will issue a receipt for the artwork and a thank you letter.
10. The artwork and the name of the artist could possibly be promoted on the website, newsletter, and/or social media of the ODBK. If you dont want to appear at the ODBK promotion, please send an email.
