Short Bio:
Multidisciplinary artist Helene Lindqvost holds diplomas in performing arts and opera. She has sung over 20 leading soprano roles in state-level operas globally. HL with Swedish and Egyptian roots, currently resides in Augsburg, and is a member of the Artists' Guild of Bavaria. Since 2020, she has been participating in group and solo art shows in Europe. She is represented by galleries and collaborates with art consultants in Berlin, Darmstadt, Kettinge/Denmark, and New York.
Concept or discourse:
My work is deeply influenced by my fascination with the intricacies of human emotion, curiosity, and behavior. Through large-scale acrylic paintings on canvas, I explore these themes in a style that combines elements of the Blaue Reiter movement with the bold colors and graphic imagery of Pop Art. These elements are intended to reflect the hidden significance of the fleeting present moment that I explore in my paintings, inviting the viewer to engage with the complex human experiences that inform my work. I am particularly interested in the ways in which we react to different emotional states, and how these responses manifest in our bodies and behavior.
