Short Bio:
Born in 1976 in Amsterdam Witte Wartena studied at the AKI Academy of Art and Design, Enschede and received a Masters from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006. He exhibites internationally. In 2017 He participated in Linea Recta at the CBK Emmen and in 2018 in Krijt at the Kunsthal KAdE, Amersfoort and in 2022 in the Teckningsmuseet in Laholm. He was nominated for the Foire Internationale du Dessin (FID) in 2016, for the Derwent Art Prize in 2020 and the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize in 2022.
