Evaluator Joseph Klibansky (Artist)

Joseph Klibansky (Cape Town, 1984) is a prolific, Dutch artist with a large global following, whose artistic practice since 2008 blurs the thresholds between digital photograph, painting and sculpture. In spite of his young age, he has gained an outstanding reputation in the art system with displays at major international art exhibitions and fairs. Klibansky was recently named # 1 art star by artprice.com in the top five youngest art stars under 30. This year an outoor installation by Joseph Klibansky will be placed in the Museumplein of Amsterdam, one of the most famous square in Europe, in front of the renowned RijskMuseum. Still in 2018 Klibansky will be part of a group exhibition - Official collateral event to the Manifesta Biennal 12 in Palermo, Italy and during summer his nine-meters tall sculpture Self portrait of a Dreamer will be heading to the city of Shanghai for the Shanghai Jing'An international Sculpture Project Biennal Exhibition. In 2017, the Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle (Netherlands) hosted the solo show Leap of Faith of Klibansky, curated by Ralph Keuning, the Director of the Mueum. Still in 2017 the BVDS Gallery in Venice hosted the exhibition Reflection of Youth in conjunction with the Venice Art Biennale. In 2016 the solo show Bautiful Tomorrow was held at the prestigious Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti on the Gran Canal in Venice and curated by Demetrio Paparoni. In 2015 the Artist was invited to be part of TRIO Bienal, the sculpture biennial in Rio de Janeiro. His works have been exhibited both in personal and group shows in Paris, Singapore, Amsterdam, New York, Geneva, Saint Paul de Vence, Brussels, Honfleur, Cannes, Marseille, Crans Montana, Mumbai, Saint Tropez, Chicago, Miami, Antwerp, Venice and others. Recent art fairs include 2017 Art New York, 2016 London Art Fair, 2016 TEFAF Maastricht, 2016 Art Miami and so on.
