Evaluator Luisa Nolasco (Artist)

Currently studying a MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at the University of Westminster. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro and having studied Social Communications, with emphasis in Film Studies, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. I moved to the UK in search of better opportunities in terms of Arts and Photography, after winning a competition put forth by the External Relationships Ministry. During my BA I had a 50% scholarship due to great academic development and for my MA I have recently won the 125 Fund - a grant to develop a photographic project. I have published in several photography magazines such as Blur Magazine, Suitcase Magazine and Positive Magazine. I have also participated in exhibitions across London; Brick Lane Gallery, Photofusion, among others.
