DT500 MAG IS A POST-CONCEPTUAL PUBLIC PORTRAITURE The project is founded and run by artists ARTHUR SOPIN AND ANDREAS ROD Anno 02.2013 NYC DT500 MAG is an artisan hybrid-studio, creative space and public portraiture. The purpose of our editorial program is to provide emerging and established artists, creatives, designers and progressive thinkers a scene for free expression and a club to meet and recognize other creative individuals. DT500 MAG has a current residency at Stoke Newington, N16 7LF, London DT500 MAG is about the intimate stories of uncertain and eccentric individuals who celebrate the collective inventiveness and freedom that the seemingly simple act of being different provides. The project shapes a historical and creative context for the experience of eccentricity and the great notion of the future where self-expression and creative freedom is not just celebrated but actively encouraged We aim to converge the dichotomies, divergences, and differences that persist, and celebrate our multifaceted diversity under one metamodernist narrative – a metaphorical collage of experiences and stimuli that explores the liminality of personality, queerness, and identity 01868-300 DOWNTOWN 500 MAGAZINE IS FIRSTLY INSPIRED BY THE VILLAGE EYE A FANZINE AND THE FREE CREATIVES IN NEW YORK CITY IN THE EARLY 80’S.
