I am an Artist with a 12 years career, I have in my curriculum more than 55 Exhibitions in importants spaces, also I worked as a Curator in the Camagüey\'s Province Council for the Arts. Lilivet Peña Echemendía, Cuba, has been a medical doctor for 12 years.
Intent on a future in arts since a young girl, she won the Cuban National Prize for Art Miniatures in 2013, the International Illustration Contest, \"Lunar Vision 2020\" in Mexico, the Finalist Certificate of the San Diego Show Contest and Finalist Certificate of the Artist of the Year Award by Circle Foundation for the Arts, France in 2019 and has continued to be self-taught and devoting herself to both careers.
She imbues her colorful original art paintings with great personal introspection. Her work in series of focused themes is intent on challenging the viewer through her interwined iconic, seemingly playful imagery, to step outside common assumptions of relationships to express concerns for the environment, questioning life and behavior, and the forgotten responsibilities of the technological highways.
Lilivet has had 6 Solo Exhibits in Cuba and Spain, and has participated in over 53 group shows, including 16 National and 9 International exhibitions in galleries, art fairs, and public institutions. Her works are in private collections in Spain, Italy, El Salvador, Mexico, France and the United States, and now available to collectors in fine art limited edition prints.
