Trough this referendum you will evaluate the quality of the work of an artist. The result of this I called the “pure taste” indicator. The “pure taste” indicator is an evaluation of the quality of the work of an artist, without hidden variables used in the current art market to speculate with it.
With the results of this referendum and the “DHAdmann *Pure taste* indicator and cap-price formulas”, the *Pure* taste indicator of an artist will be calculated and published as soon the minimum quantity of evaluations are completed.

Terry Winters, is a contemporary American painter and printmaker. With a wide-ranging and eclectic practice, Winters conflates non-narrative organic abstraction and mathematic systems into complex compositions that reference digital space, architecture, life, and identity. His biomorphic, geometric paintings explore the limits of Minimalist and Modernist traditions through texturally raw surfaces. ?There?s not a one-to-one relationship between the image and what it stands for in the world,? the artist has said of abstract art. ?There are shifting meanings which have the characteristics of metaphor.? Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1949, completed his BFA at Pratt Institute in 1971, and quietly rose to prominence in the New York scene throughout the 1980s, alongside painters such as Stephen Mueller and Bill Jensen. A survey at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1992 brought Winters? introspective work to the forefront of the art world, propelling him into the canon of contemporary abstraction. Since then, he has enjoyed significant critical attention, exhibiting his works in retrospectives at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, as well as by galleries such as Matthew Marks in New York.http://www.artnet.com/artists/terry-winters/

Question 1 of 4
1. Question
Concept of the Artist
For the past 30 years, Terry Winters has occupied the same New York studio since his very first exhibition. A painter, draftsman, and printmaker, Winters began exhibiting in New York in 1977 after his graduation from Pratt Institute in 1971. While his early paintings possess a minimalism influenced by Brice Marden, his work evolved to depict organic shapes and abstracted images of botanicals, and schematic references to scientific processes. Although Winters? work has become more complex over time, his process has remained the same?since the beginning, he has collected images and assembled collages of references to prepare ideas for his paintings. These collages reveal unforeseen connections between found images, which Winters likens to a ?readymade? that he strives to perfect.https://www.artsy.net/artist/terry-winters
