Trough this referendum you will evaluate the quality of the work of an artist. The result of this I called the “pure taste” indicator. The “pure taste” indicator is an evaluation of the quality of the work of an artist, without hidden variables used in the current art market to speculate with it.
With the results of this referendum and the “DHAdmann *Pure taste* indicator and cap-price formulas”, the *Pure* taste indicator of an artist will be calculated and published as soon the minimum quantity of evaluations are completed.

Counting among his influences Art Brut, Art Informel, and Abstract Expressionism, as well as artists Edvard Munch and Wassily Kandinsky, German artist Georg Baselitz?s work is characterized by expressionistic mark-making and unrefined, even grotesque, figurative depiction. Working in painting, drawing, printmaking, and monumental wood sculpture, Baselitz often addresses issues related to German national identity post-World War II, particularly the role of German artists. Along with Anselm Kiefer, Baselitz was chosen to represent Germany at the 1980 Venice Biennale, exhibiting a monumental wooden sculptural figure that appeared to be making a Nazi salute, causing an eruption of controversy and bringing the question of contemporary German identity to the fore. Baselitz is closely associated with fellow artists A.R. Penck and Eugen Sch?enbeck, who demonstrate similar stylistic tendencies and emphasis on subject matter rather than strict abstraction. 2. Question
Concept of the Artist
Upside Down PaintingsIn 1969 Baselitz discovered the style of fine art painting which made him famous and with which he is most identified. He starting painting his subjects upside down, as in the Forest on its Head (1969, Ludwig Museum). So while there was still a visible subject, its significance was superceded by the actual paintwork and brushwork. He hit on a method of objectifying a work of art without entering the realm of abstraction or allowing the motif to dominate. He applied the same technique to his drawing, woodcuts and etching. Perhaps not surprisingly not everyone was impressed with his new approach. Sceptics saw his upside works as gimmicky rather than a concept with a philosophical basis.
