Trough this referendum you will evaluate the quality of the work of an artist. The result of this I called the “pure taste” indicator. The “pure taste” indicator is an evaluation of the quality of the work of an artist, without hidden variables used in the current art market to speculate with it.
With the results of this referendum and the “DHAdmann *Pure taste* indicator and cap-price formulas”, the *Pure* taste indicator of an artist will be calculated and published as soon the minimum quantity of evaluations are completed.

Thomas Struth is a preeminent contemporary photographer. Often working in series to document a range of subjects that has included urban scenes, rain forests, and portraits, one of his best-known projects, the Museum Photographs, captures visitors admiring works of art, serving as an examination of both the momentary and eternal in contemporary culture. Along with his German peers Andreas Gursky, Candida H?fer, and Thomas Ruff, Struth emerged from the Kunstakademie D?sseldorf under the instruction of Bernd and Hilla Becher. The Becher?s meticulous practice has influenced Struth?s systematic approach to taking photographs, while his other teacher, Gerhard Richter, inspired his interest in painterly images. The recipient of numerous solo exhibitions worldwide, Struth was notably the subject of a major retrospective held at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Born in 1954 in Geldern, Germany, Struth currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.http://www.artnet.com/artists/thomas-struth/

Question 1 of 4
1. Question
Concept of the Artist
Thomas Struth takes mesmerizing photographs that express his belief in photography as ?a tool of scientific origin for psychological exploration.? He began taking pictures in 1976, influenced by his studies with three of the most important contemporary German artists of the time?painter and mixed media artist Gerhard Richter and photographers Bernd and Hilla Becher. After his early black-and-white series of deadpan views of cityscapes eerily devoid of any signs of urban life, in 1989, Struth began work on his best-known cycle, the ?Museum Photographs.? In these large-format, color-saturated photographs, Struth captures individuals and crowds looking at famous works of Western art in the world?s most popular museums. While looking at the ?Museum Photographs,? viewers are confronted with the act of looking itself and the social complexities of seeing and being seen.https://www.artsy.net/artist/thomas-struth
