Since its beginning in 1989, the program of my gallery has continued to focus on extraordinary contemporary artistic positions especially deeply invested in an exploration of innovative working methods.

I started presenting mainly artistic works in the field of virtual images, and of photography and video installations. In the course of the last years, the focal point of my interest has shifted to progressive forms of paintings and drawing. All of which are rooted in productive conflicts with so called new media and are set in wide-ranging theoretical backgrounds. In many cases, for example Luis Camnitzer, Michael Schweiger, or Dierk Schmidt, these positions manifest themselves in decidedly politicized directions.

One of the main aspects that characterize my work is that I mostly worked and still work with young artists almost unknown to a wider audience. I accompany their work over the years and support their artistic development.
