Introducing The Demokratik: A New Voice for Equity in the Art World

The Demokratik is set to become the first printed newspaper dedicated to promoting Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI), transparency, and democracy within the art world. Published by ODBK (Organization for the Democratization of the Visual Arts), this newspaper will feature original news, thought-provoking interviews, critical essays, event announcements, and much more.

Our first edition—5,000 copies strong—will launch in June 2025, with initial distribution in Berlin and plans to expand worldwide.

🖼️ Call for Artists and artworks for the Limited Edition Art Catalog inside the Demokratik

Each issue of The Demokratik will include a special five-page catalog showcasing limited edition artworks by both local and international artists. If you’re an artist interested in featuring your work, please complete the submission form below. Please read the next observations before submitting your artwork:

1. The price should not include delivery costs
2. The artwork has to be a limited edition
3.  The  size should be small (Max A3 or 20 cms for 3D objects) to minimize delivery costs
4. The publication of your artwork has no cost, But in exchange we invite you to make a donation to help us ensure this project will have a much powerful impact, please go to our donations page
