Howard Hodgkin was born in 1932 in London, England. He attended the Camberwell School of Art, England, from 1949 to 1950, and Bath Academy of Art, England, from 1950 to 1954. His first retrospective was curated by Nicholas Serota at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, in 1976. Major museum exhibitions include ?Paintings 1975?1995,?
