Pure Taste Indicator - Artist Page

After 27 years of making work fulltime in text, painting, photography, performance, music, and film, I have reached the point of questioning the notion of making art for an audience, and instead, making art purely according to its own laws, imperatives, and inherent dictates. Dictates that transcend beauty, politics, or any other human concerns, while at the same time address the fundamental core needs or being and existence. I have not reached a conclusion about this, but, my current work is exploring this question.
