The process of creation is fundamental to me, I create from a strong drive of idea and obligation. Although it might seem to be driven by control, my artistic process is genuinely uncertain and in that sense, very organic. My aim is to reach a certain visual accuracy by relaying on a personal aesthetic and conceptual principles, by delving into interactions with objects, people and places. The collected data doesn’t end or get finalised in a specific form, but is manifested in continuous individual works. Autobiographical elements, conflicts and seemingly impossible cooperations stand at the base of my work and characterise it, yet the final work is shaped through the working process itself - the chosen materials and often the specific space and context in which it is shown.
