I am a visual artist whose work spans several medias, including painting, collage and video.Running theme throughout my oeuvre have been identity politics, the body of the artist as a vessel of political agency and how the artwork itself enacts agency. My work in the past couple of years has included a series of videos contemplating the rise of far-right politics in Greece, digital collages, figurative paintings with a "queer" subject matter and abstract paintings that make use of post-structuralist discourse and try and move away from the self-referential tendencies of abstract expressionism.
