My art is recently following personal interest about human brain, considering current technology such as artificial intelligence, robotics, or multi-realities. Since there are 7.6 billion individuals who have distinguishable brains from each other, I believe that there will be enigmatic complexity yet to be revealed, especially about creativity. According to proven theories of neuroscience, undiscovered potentials of brain can be activated when we stimulate and train the appropriate parts, but in contrary, if we less use certain areas of brain, the function will be declined as well. So I am exploring and developing new interactive media linked to brain s subconscious exercise of the audience. Integrated creativity of artist and audience will be able to intermingle multi-sensory cognitions and produce a new experience in art. Hence, among multiple messages I have in art, one is about the importance of balancing human power and technological capabilities. Another message in my art is about humanity, loving others and nature. Currently I can feel that the value and significance of sustainability, meditation, communal society, and respectfulness, which are fairly related to traditional Asian philosophies, have been increased. Since I ve been studying and residing in London, I put myself in-between position of east and west cultures and philosophies, and try to amend and devote myself to the righteousness, from mind to behaviours, because I believe it will be appeared naturally in my art instead of saying we need to love each other. Eventually many parts of my art are containing depictions of general people and intimate relationships, considering unique beauty of each person and their face and body expressions, without discrimination by gender, nationality, or other aspects.
