Rafael Ski works with tools of his time, with a so-called "high-low technology", where he uses accessible, simple and even everyday electronic components, the Brazilian artist works with advanced technologies such as facial recognition, elaborate movement sensors, intricate movements of digital particles, always tuned to the impact of new technologies on a daily life. Once he graduated in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Juiz de For a (Brazil), in 2010, he began his research in the field of digital arts, and has already performed in several national and international galleries. One of the most recent and striking exhibitions was in one of the most important galleries in Iran's capital, Tehran, the “Mohsen Gallery”. In addition to three editions of the artistic residence "Interactivos?", occurred in Spain and England. Working with digital and interactive media, his goal does not end with the technology itself. Although using logical reasoning to create their interactive environments, Rafael Ski seeks to incite provocations that go far beyond the field of reason. It seeks to provoke the "feel". Within this potentially cold and rational environment, he seeks the humanization of these technologies.
